Ralph Kiner made his Major League Baseball debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates on April 16, 1946, and never looked back. Kiner spent 10 years in the game, played in six straight All-Star Games, crushed 369 career home runs and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1975. After retiring as a player at the age of 32, Kiner embarked on a career as a broadcaster. Kiner has been associated with the New York Mets since 1962, and though he has curtailed his duties hes closing in on his 50th season as a broadcaster for the Amazin's.
