Walter Payton, the 1975 first round pick of the Chicago Bears, was known as Sweetness for his ability to play his position with grace and style. Payton ranks second on the all time rushing list with 16,726 yards to his name. In 1985, the Chicago Bears dominated the NFL, posting a 15-1 record. Walter Payton had another incredible year as he rushed for 1,551 yards, earning MVP honors. The Bears defense was strong, and did not allow a single point in either of their NFC playoff games. The Bears faced off against the wildcard Patriots in Super Bowl XX, winning by a score of 46-10.
